Welcome Home To The Amish Door

Half Century Of Tradition In Excellence With More To Come!

What began as a 48-seat family restaurant by the name of Stucki's, The Amish Door Restaurant has grown into what it is today through the hard work and dedication of Milo and Anna Kathryn Miller. The couple first poured coffee and served broasted chicken for dinner guests in March of 1977 in the restaurant's original location, which is now a part of the Amish Door Market. In 1982, the rustic "barn" was added, increasing the seating from 48 to 325. As the Amish Door Restaurant became even more popular, the owners were inspired to build a new restaurant - our current location - which can seat 450 guests. With the larger building, the Amish Door Bakery opened, as well.

In the following years, the Amish Door Village continued to grow!

The Hasseman House Bed and Breakfast was introduced, inviting guests to stay the night in the beautiful Amish countryside. Open until 2017, the bed and breakfast gave many wonderful memories to The Amish Door Village guests.

The banquet center, now known as the Milana Event Center, followed shortly after. It became the perfect place for events at The Amish Door Village, including dinner and a show, family or corporate events and weddings. It has become the place to be!

After high demand, the Inn at Amish Door opened in October 1997. With 52 guest rooms, the Inn allowed even more guests to enjoy a stay at The Amish Door Village.

In 2010, The Amish Door Restaurant was remodeled with a fresh, new look.

Then, in 2019, the next generation took on the role of day-to-day operations and now carries on the tradition of The Amish Door Village. With Milo and Anna’s values in their hearts, they continued to watch The Amish Door Village flourish with even more on the horizon.

Our goal at The Amish Door Village is to be a welcoming and hospitable respite for each of our guests every time they join us.
