Restaurant
What began as a 48 seat family restaurant by the name of Stucki's, The Amish Door Restaurant has grown into what it is today through the hard work and dedication of Milo and Anna Kathryn Miller. The couple first poured coffee and served broasted Chicken for dinner guests in March of 1977 in the restaurant's original location, which is now a part of the Amish Door Market. In 1982, the rustic "barn" was added, increasing the seating from 48 to 325. Larger crowds inspired the building of a new restaurant, seating 450. The Gallery Gift Shop and the Amish Door Bakery were opened in the new building as well. Over the next 5 years, the Amish Door Village would continue to grow with the addition of the Hasseman House Bed & Breakfast, the Banquet Center, and The Inn at Amish Door. In 2010, remodeling gave the Amish Door a fresh, new look. In 2018, The Amish Door will be celebrating 41 years of business.
